If you live, work or do business in Southwest Alaska, a SWAMC membership is an investment in a strong economy and sustainable communites in the region. Please join us as we work to create new economic opportunities and improve the quality of life in Southwest Alaska.
As a 501(c)4 nonprofit, membership-based organization, SWAMC's foundation of local contributons and support comes from Municipal Members such as boroughs and cities. Associate Members, comprised of for-profit businesses, tribal governments, and other regional organizations, strengthen and broaden SWAMC's role as a public-private partnership.
Municipal Members invest in regional economic development and advocacy through an assessment based on population. Associate Members' investment is based on gross earnings or budget. For a complete membership investment schedule, please see the membership application form
