Submit a Resolution to SWAMC

SWAMC members and other regional stakeholders may submit a resolution for consideration by the SWAMC Board of Directors or membership. Please download the resolution forms or submit a draft in .pdf or .doc format.

Resolutions passed at the 2011 Annual Membership Meeting on Feb. 11, 2011

  • 11-02 In support of increasing State participation in the promotional programs of the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute.
  • 11-03 Opposing FDA approval for Genertically Engineered (GE) salmon.
  • 11-04 In support of full funding of the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Program.
  • 11-05 In support of the establishment of an Alaska Food Policy Council.
  • 11-06 In support of the programs and resources of the Economic Development Administration in the state of Alaska.
  • 11-07 Recognizing the importance of coastal planning and supporting the continuation of the Alaska Coastal Management Program.
  • 11-08 In support of continuing the Essential Air Service Program in Alaska.
  • 11-09 In support of full funding of the Weatherization Program.
  • 11-10 In support of full funding of the Energy Rebate Program, as well as calling for an independent review of the program and how its policies apply to rural Alaska.
  • 11-11 Urging the support of continued funding for renewable energy, energy efficiency, and emerging energy technology programs statewide.
  • 11-12 In support of taking a portion of the Universal Services Fund (USF) to build out rural fiber optic infrastructure.
  • 11-13 Supporting the Alaska Department of Fish & Game's regulatory definition of State waters.


Resolution 2011-01, regarding State of Alaska's Municipal Harbor Facility Grant Program, was passed by the SWAMC Board prior to the Annual Membership Meeting.
