Submit a Resolution to SWAMC

SWAMC members and other regional stakeholders may submit a resolution for consideration by the SWAMC Board of Directors or membership. Please download the resolution forms or submit a draft in .pdf or .doc format.

Resolutions passed at the 2010 Annual Membership Meeting on Feb. 5, 2010*

  • 10-04 In support of State Senate Bill 4 and House Bill 74, which make amendments to the Alaska Coastal Management Program.
  • 10-05 In support of the Alaska Partnership for Economic Development's "Alaska Forward" initiative to develop a long-term economic strategy for Alaska.
  • 10-07 Taking a strong position against "An initiative creating an Alaska Anti-Corruption Act" (Prop 7), which will be placed on the 2010 primary election ballot.
  • 10-08 In support of legislation establishing Regional Transportation Planning Organizations (RTPO) in the State of Alaska.
  • 10-09 Calling for the implementation of a pilot project for collecting crew member data in Southwest Alaska.
  • 10-10 Urging the United States Congress to classify hydroelectric power as a renewable and alternative energy source.
  • 10-11 Urging the support of continued funding for renewable energy and energy efficiency statewide.

*Resolution 2010-03 was pulled by the membership. Resolution 2010-06 was pulled by the SWAMC Board of Directors.

Resolution 2010-02, regarding Marine Advisory Program funding, was passed by the SWAMC Board prior to the Annual Membership Meeting.
