Workforce Development Council
SWAMC was selected by the Alaska Workforce Investment Board (AWIB) to convene and facilitate the Southwest Alaska Workforce Development Council, which serves in an advisory capacity to the AWIB. The Council works to align workforce development programs and activities with regional economic development efforts and advises the SWAMC Board of Directors on workforce development issues.
